The MAK3RS Program
-
Our engineering and design workshops teach students the fundamental skills they’ll use throughout their MAK3RS journey. From prototyping and blueprinting to testing their designs, these workshops help students turn ideas into reality.
-
Our 12 week themed building challenges put students in teams to design and build creative solutions based on real-world concepts. Each program is designed to ignite their curiosity, strengthen their teamwork skills, and foster innovative thinking.
Example Themes
• Future Cities: Students will design and build a sustainable city of the future, focusing on renewable energy, smart infrastructure, and livable spaces.
• Sustainable Solutions: How can we solve some of today’s biggest environmental challenges? Teams will create solutions that address waste management, clean energy, and conservation.
-
At MAK3RS, we encourage students to tell the story behind their creations. Each project is not only a technical feat but also an imaginative story that gives meaning to their designs. Through storytelling, students learn to communicate their ideas effectively and connect their builds to the real world.
-
Each MAK3RS program ends with a special showcase event, where students present their final projects and share the story behind their designs. This event celebrates their creativity and hard work while giving them a platform to demonstrate the skills they’ve gained.
